Tadanori Yokoo is one of my favorite Japanese artist.
Tadanori Yokoo(横尾忠則) who is from Hyogo-ken is Japanese famous artist as well as graphic designer.
First, he had worked as a graphic desiner for Japanese newspaper company. However, he has worked as a painter since 1980 as he was influenced by the art of Picasso at The Museum of Modern Art, New York in the year.
His work of arts are really indivisual and unique. And also colourful.
He has collaborated some famous people such as Ken Takakura who is extremely famouse Japanese actor and The Beatles which is no explanation needed.
This is one of the most favorite one.
I feel as if it has dark side and light side as although the guy is committing suicide in the middle, the baby who is 1year and a half years old is also in here.
Whats more the red symbol seems like sun which means that it might discribe happiness or something good.
Arts have lots of meaning. The meanig and how to understand the art is always depend on the people.
Every answer and understanding is correct. There is no specific one correct answer towards arts which is absolutely fascinating for me.
